How do you travel?
What do you plan to use your rooftop tent for in the future? Where will your rooftop tent travel route mainly take you? Central Europe, Scandinavia, or the south? We'd be happy to advise you.
The size
It makes a big difference whether you're traveling as a family of five or as a single person. We're happy to advise you on choosing the right size.
The roof load
Before you mount a roof tent weighing 100kg onto your car roof, you should find out what your car roof can actually bear.
Your budget
How much should your rooftop tent cost? Why are some so cheap and others so expensive? We'll gladly explain the differences to you. Quality comes at a price, one that you can't see in online photos. You have to feel it. Buying a rooftop tent from us is an investment for the next 10 years. Our extensive travel experience has taught us that quality is not something to skimp on.
The equipment
With or without an awning? Groundsheet, yes or no? Color? Which fabric? Which mattress: firm, medium, or soft? Roof window or not? UV resistant or not? Mold resistant or not? Taped seams or not? What is the hydrostatic head rating? How much storage space is available? We'd be happy to help you decide.

The rooftop tent can be set up in about 2-3 minutes with a little practice. However, this timeframe is only important if it's raining; otherwise, there's no need to stress yourself out on your adventure. Relax, take your time and enjoy your trip. The same applies to folding up the roof tent.
The dynamic load capacity of your vehicle is the maximum weight that the vehicle's roof racks are allowed to support while driving.
This means that if your vehicle registration document specifies a roof load of 70 kg, this load should not be exceeded while driving. The more weight on your roof, the longer the braking distance will be.
The static roof load – that is, when the car is not moving – is many times higher.
